This is an antique Victorian era rectangular crystal master salt cellar, open salt or salt dish from the 1880s in England.
The large master salt is faceted crystal has an intaglio, or cut out bottom leaf design and measures .75 of an inch high by 3.5 inches long by 2.35 inches wide, with beveled sides and corners.
The open salt is in very good ++ used vintage condition but it does have a small fleabites on the rim edge, an old bottom chip as shown and imperfections in the glass itself from manufacturing, which just give it antique character.
A very nice old Victorian master salt. These make great ring dishes, tea bag holders, succulent planters or for individual sauce holders on tables today. Cool!
