This is a large blue transferware teapot from Liberty Blue, England with ablue transfer ware scene on both sides called Minutemen, referring to American Revolutionary War fighters and a floral design on the front of the spout, handle and lid.
The blue and white teapot measures 6.25 inches high to the top of the lid by 9 inches long by 5 inches wide, as it is rather aquared in shape. The mark indicated that it is th e larger of 2 sizes, and holds 42 ounces or 6 cups..
The blue transferware patriotic and historical design teapot is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear.
