This is an unusual combination piece that is a button cover that has an engraved gold filled locket attached.
The locket is 1.25 inches high by almost an inch wide and is attached to a fitting with a hinged claw that opens, slips over a button and closes to hold onto the button and keep the button cover in place on the button.
The locket has a pretty design and is in very good +++ used vintage condition and was made in the 1960s.
