This is an English vintage clear pressed glass cutlery or knife rest measuring .5 inch high by 2 inches long by 1.5 inches wide in a cushion design with central depression, smoothed and rounded angles and a bark pattern bottom.
The knife rest dates to 1930-1940s and is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, and is possibly French.
From an English knife est collection I acquired.
