This is a Shelley China, England cup and saucer in the Gainsborough shape and the Serenity pattern number 13791 with platinum trim and lovely aqua color feathers or fern leaves with what is called Snow Crystals made between 1940-1966.
The The cup is 4 inches in diameter by 2.75 high and the saucer is 5.75 in diameter and can be called a demitasse or after dinner coffee cup as well as a teacup.
The cup and saucer is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear and is a lovely and restful way to sip your tea.
